Mandatory Logos
To ensure consistency and compliance with the branding requirements of the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line, the following mandatory elements must be included in all marketing and promotional materials:
1. Programme Logo

The official logos of the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line combines the name of the programme with the combination of the EU and EBRD logos.
This logo can be used by PFIs, but its use is not obligatory:

2. EBRD and EU Logos – Mandatory Logos!

The use of the EBRD and EU Logo combination is mandatory and must be used in all digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, social media posts, flyers, and website banners.
This logo must be used:

Where to use: Ensure the mandatory logo combination is placed prominently at the top or bottom of all promotional materials to maintain donor visibility.
The logo combination must be used in its original format, without alteration, must maintain the required proportions and ideally should maintain the original color schemes. For use on dark backgrounds, the reverse ‘white’ version can be used:

3. Verification Related EBRD&EU Visibility Requirements – For PFIs
To support PFIs in their obligation to ensure the EBRD/EU visibility requirements (as specified in the Policy Statement: 2. (a) Donor Visibility, which is part of EBRD agreements with PFIs regulating the visibility requirements) are fully implemented, this guide sheet provides the necessary information for PFIs and their sub-borrowers. Each project that was financed under the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line must display a note indicating the support received for the investment. To fulfill this requirement, a branded Project Completion Sticker and/or Project Completion Plaque should be displayed on or near the equipment financed with funds of the Credit Line. To ensure that each sub-borrower has the correct sticker/plaque and is able to display this, the sticker and/or plaque and installation instructions available, the relevant material must be handed to the sub-borrower at the time of the loan signing.
The Stickers and Plaques were designed by the Consultant Team in line with the visibility rules and approved by the EBRD:
Visibility stickers and plaques
Two types of visibility items are available:
  • Project Completion Stickers, available in print-ready files in sizes A4 and A5, to cater for different equipment sizes. Stickers are mainly for LET/GTS projects. The stickers should be printed white, glossy, self-sticking PP (Vinyl) foil, ideally UV and waterproof. The foil thickness should be at least 0.050 mm (measured without protective paper and adhesive).
  • Project Completion Plaques, available in print-ready files in size A4. Plaques are mainly for SPS and Complex projects. The plaques should be produced on Foamex mounting board (3mm thickness A4) or similar, the top side should be produced on glossy white foil.

Which project gets what?
  • LET/GTS projects: Stickers only. Depending on the equipment number and size, either A5 or A4 stickers should be handed out by the PFI to the sub-borrower upon loan contracting signing, together with the ‘Instruction Sheet’ (see below, starting from page 3. For the version to be handed to the sub-borrower, use the separate file named: ‘Visibility Requirements for Sub-borrowers’!). For equipment such as tractors and similar machines that have e.g. an operator cabin, stickers with adhesive on the printed site should be made available, which can be stuck to a window from the inside of the cabin to avoid undue early tarnishing/smudging of the stickers. Ideally, the responsible loan officer should discuss the best option of sticker with the sub-borrower. The PFI should ensure that the different varieties (A4, A5, adhesive on the printed side, adhesive on the backside) are available at the offices where the loans are signed.
  • SPS and Complex projects: Project Completion Plaque and Sticker for each project. The type and handling of the sticker is the same as for LET/GTS projects (see above). The Project Completion Plaque can be put on display in the company reception, the director’s office in a high-visibility spot of the building financed or near the machine/equipment financed. The sticker and the plaque should be handed out to the sub-borrower upon loan contracting signing, together with the ‘Instruction Sheet’ (see attached).

Production
The production cost should be covered by the PFIs and should be counted as part of the parallel contribution to marketing/visibility (Policy Statement 2.2.4 PFI Contribution). Each PFI can use its own printing company to produce the required stickers and plaques. If in doubt, the Project Consultants can establish a contact with printers/production companies that are known to be able to produce the stickers and plaques.

Photo Evidence
Existence of the installed stickers and plaques will be a condition of verification for all loans signed from the 1st May 2025 onwards. To ensure a smooth implementation, an additional tick-box (‘Sticker/Plaque handed to the sub-borrower at loan signing and photo attached’) has been added to the Application Form and PFI ANNEX to be used for loans from 1st May 2025 onwards. The PFI will share photos of the equipment with the display of the sticker/plaque as part of the verification documentation. The Verification Consultant will make sure that said documentation is satisfactory as per the above instructions. The Verification Consultant can only start the verification process if the photo evidence was provided.
1 During implementation of the Programme, the PFI shall make a parallel contribution complementing the TC in the amount of not less than EUR 5,000 (the "Parallel Contribution"). The Parallel Contribution shall finance expenses related to marketing, promotion and implementation of the Programme. All costs of the Parallel Contribution shall be borne solely by the PFI. The PFI shall provide to EBRD a written evidence, in the form of Schedule 2 (Parallel Client Contribution Report) and in substance satisfactory to EBRD, confirming that the Parallel Contribution was made. If the PFI fails to make the Parallel Contribution or any part thereof, EBRD may in its sole discretion suspend the delivery of the technical assistance provided by the PC and/or the VC to the PFI and its sub-borrowers.
